In 1953 the New Zealander Edmund Hillary and the Sherpa Tenzing Norway became the first people to reach the peak of Mt. Everest. Nearly 4,000 people have successfully climbed the worlds highest mountain. The youngest is an American boy who made the climb when he was 13 years old.

Persephone💕
Persephone daughter of Zeus and Demeter, was abducted by Hades god of the UnderWorld. Persephone did not like it there,when Zeus heard she was down there he brought her back. Unfortunately Persephone ate some pomegranate seeds,which made her go back.She spent 9 months with her mom and 3 months with Hades. It’s supposed to represent winter and summer. Plants would grow and thrive during summer and spring,but when winter came they would all die because Persephone would be in the underworld.
